My sister has 3 other Purity cook books, two of them being the newer 'All New Purity' books and one that is similar, but not quite the same as mine; besides being hardcover, it has further text on the front cover (The complete guide to Canadian Cooking).
This cookbook has been a staple in our family for about 40 yrs..wow! I'm not sure how often my mom used it, but I know as kids we grew up learning to cook from the Purity Cook Book. Mind you...it was cakes and cookies, cause really, I wans't interested in making Meatloaf.
